● Everyone's Music Education---the Only Path for 21st Century China

We hold in high esteem Kodály's idea of " music should belong to everyone" and Cyxomjnhcknn's idea of " music education is first of all education for people". In 20th century, many music educators made great efforts and contribution for this purpose. However, although in theory, the target of music education is "everyone", in practice, children and students in school are the main target, where the priority of music education is put into enlightenment instead of study of music knowledge and capacity of high level. Adult music education is hardly involved. Take adults who have missed music education opportunities in childhood, for instance; there is no practical strategy. There is no analysis and study on different music study needs from adults of different levels. Neither is there music education with professional and nonprofessional systems that are different in goals, contents, methods and process.   It is particularly significant for a country with so much population and lower music level in general than western developed countries like China to vertically solve the above problems. "Everyone's Music Education" is a new type of music education concept emerging in 21st century as the result of inheriting Chinese traditional music thinking, learning from foreign music education systems in 20th century, carrying on Cai Yuanpei's music education thinking and conforming to and applying late science and technology development achievements. It not only proposes the music education idea of "general music education" and "life music," but also fully integrating with modern digital technology and information technology. It is cooperated with systematic and complete textbook system and teaching system, with strong practicality and feasibility. Since 21st century China is on the way of cultural renaissance, Everyone's Music Education is the only path for a country with a population of billions like China to popularize music education and improve national music culture levels. 

人人音乐教育——二十一世纪中国的必由之路

我们推崇柯达伊“音乐应该属于每个人”和苏霍姆林斯基“音乐教育首先是培养人的教育”的观念，二十世纪众多音乐教育家为此目标作出了卓越的努力与贡献。但是，尽管理论上将音乐教育的目标规定为“每个人”，实际上所做的仍然主要只能是针对儿童和在校学生，而且偏重于启蒙，难以进入深层次的音乐知识和能力的学习。关于成人音乐教育，基本上没有涉及——例如对于错失儿童期音乐教育的成人的音乐学习，没有实际对策；对于不同对象、不同层次的成人的不同的音乐学习需求，没有分析和研究；没有区分专业和非专业的音乐教育体系在目标、内容、方法、过程方面应该具有的不同。 

对于中国，由于人口众多，普遍音乐教育水平低于西方发达国家，如何真正解决上述问题其意义更为重要。“人人音乐教育”是继承我国传统音乐思想、借鉴二十世纪国外音乐教育体系、承续我国伟大教育家蔡元培先生的音乐教育思想、顺应和运用最新科技发展成果、产生于二十一世纪的新型教育思想。它的特点在于不仅提出了“普遍音乐教育”和“音乐伴随终生”的音乐教育理念，而且充分与现代数字技术、信息科技整合，与系列的、完整的教程体系和教学体系配合，具有很强的实践性和可操作性。二十一世纪的中国正走向全面的文化复兴，人人音乐教育是在中国亿万人民中普及音乐教育、提高全民音乐文化水平的必由之路。
