中文摘要 祁剧是一个有着500多年历史的湖南地方大剧种，它在过去的民间语境中本身已有一套比较成熟的传承体制。但是自19世纪末20世纪初以来，西方音乐文化和教育体制引入的影响已经对祁剧原有的传承形式提出了挑战。目前，我国学校音乐教育对地方传统音乐越来越淡化或漠视，作为中国地方传统音乐之一的祁剧及其传承正从历史上的主流形式转化为非主流、边缘化的形式。尽管在中国已经有少数的音乐教育学者指出了有关中国地方传统音乐的传承和教育的一些问题，建议采用一种更加传统的教学方法，但仍有许多音乐教育学者鼓励将西方的教学方法运用到地方传统音乐的传承和教育之中。本文旨在通过对祁剧在过去民间语境和当今学校语境中的传承和教学的相关问题进行探讨，试图在当代学校音乐教育的背景下，对中国地方传统音乐的传承形式加以分析、研究，进而学习与发展，从而为中国音乐教育工作者关于中国地方传统音乐的传承及教育提供一个“以祁剧为个案的地方传统音乐课程研究”的视野和角度，以便为在学校音乐教育中如何发展地方传统音乐寻找一个更好的解决办法，让我们去重新审视地方传统音乐教育对于我们目前学校音乐教育民族化的意义。  

英文摘要 Qiyang opera, with a long history of more than 500 years in Hunan, had formed a relatively mature inherited system in locality in the past. Since the end of 19th century, however, Qiyang opera had to face a chance and challenge with the introduction of western music culture and its educational system to China. At present, Qiyang opera , one of Chinese local traditional music forms, is falling from the main stream to less influential one, because our music schooling pays less attention to the study of local traditional music education. Although a few domestic music educators have questioned about the local traditional music inherence and education, and suggested a more traditional way to educate, there are still many educators encourage to apply the western educational methods to the local traditional music education. This paper mainly probes into the inherence of the past folk environment and the present schooling environment and analyses and researches the inherited forms of Qiyang opera in order to develop it. It also presents an example of curriculum study of local traditional music, which would find a good solution to how to better improve the local traditional music in schooling.
