中文摘要一直以来，关于中国普通高等学校大学生音乐选修课的话题不断地冲击着高等学校音乐教育工作者的思想。音乐对于大学生的人文素质提高的独特功能已经受到了社会各界的高度重视；在高等学校开展音乐选修课，已经得到了教育部、各级领导以及众多教育家、音乐教育工作者的认同与支持。因此，有关高等学校公共音乐选修课程的研究，已经成为国家教育部、各级教委以及高等学校公共艺术部门关注的课题。近几年我国普通高等学校的公共音乐选修课程已有了较大发展，但仍然处于初创阶段，还不能满足大学生对艺术教育的迫切要求，也不能适应社会主义现代化建设事业对人才的更高要求。目前，关于国内外普通高等学校音乐选修课程设置研究的文章还是很少。本文站在客观的角度，从改善我国普通高等学校音乐教育的目的出发，采取抽样调查的形式，了解国内外高等学校的音乐教育状况，运用历史研究法、文献分析法、比较研究法、调查研究法、观察研究法和归纳研究等方法，并结合自身的教学实践和体会，对普通高等学校音乐选修课程设置的各方面内容进行探讨，对我国普通高等学校音乐选修课程的设置状况做进一步的了解，并试图从新的视野来实现对普通高等学校音乐选修课程教学的重构。

英文摘要 For a long time, the discussion about the elective music course of ordinary university students in China is constantly pounding the musician' s thinking of colleges and universities. The unique function that music has enhanced the human quality of university students has been attached great importance by the society. To establish the elective music course in colleges and universities has been approved and supported by the Ministry of Education and the leaders at all levels. Therefore, the research about the elective music course has become the problem followed with interest by the Ministry of education, the education committee at all levels and the public art department of colleges and universities. In recent years, the elective music course in public art of the ordinary colleges and universities has been greatly improved, but it is still at primary stage and can' t meet the urgent demand for art education of university students, or the highest demand for the capable person by socialist modernization construction. At present, the articles about this kind of research are very few at home and abroad. From the objective angles, this article tried to make knowledge of the education condition of the colleges and universities at home and abroad through the selective examination so as to improve the music education of ordinary colleges and universities. In combination with my teaching practice, I tried to make a research of the establishment of elective music course with historical research, document research investigation research and inductive research method and tried to reconstruct it in ordinary universities.
