中文摘要 教育是人类特有的社会文化形态,是一种培养人的社会活动,它随着人类社会的产生而产生,随着人类社会的发展而发展。音乐教育亦然,音乐教育也伴随人类音乐诞生之日便产生了。中国素以“礼乐之邦”而著称,有着悠久的乐教传统,是世界上音乐教育起源最早的国家之一。古人云:“国盛乐兴,国衰乐亡。”可见,音乐教育的成败对社会的文明与进步起着至关重要的作用。音乐教育是我国学校教育中不可缺少的组成部分,是实施美育的一项主要内容和重要手段,也是加强德育、智育、体育和劳动教育的有利途径,它具有其它学科教育所不可替代的特殊作用。 北方近代教育的出现最早始于天津,一个古老而年轻、传统与开放的城市,因为文化的积淀,显得青春勃发而富有朝气。天津的社会音乐生活和音乐教育是我国多元化音乐文化的一元,更重要的是近100年来,天津音乐教育是音乐传播和我国音乐文化发展的一个典型范例。因此,研究天津音乐教育发生、发展的历史进程和规律,探究在天津音乐教育与音乐文化的相互关系及变迁的相互作用和根源,对我国音乐教育事业的发展起着承前启后的作用。 本文共分五章,第一章是中国音乐教育史概论,介绍了音乐教育的起源、古代音乐教育和中国近现代音乐教育。作为地方的音乐教育,它的发生、发展既脱离不开全国社会发展和教育发展的大背景,更脱离不开当地的经济、政治、人文等对它的影响和制约。研究天津地方音乐教育史需要中国音乐教育宏观发展的脉络,更需要展现地方音乐教育发生发展的因由和特色。这样,才能反映出天津音乐教育发展的全面而真实的面貌。我国古代音乐教育曾有过辉煌的历史,为我们今天的音乐教育起了铺垫,它和中国近现代音乐教育是有差别的,他主要是以统治阶级的利益为中心,培养贵族子弟和宫廷乐手为目的,而我国的普通学校音乐教育是从上世纪初开始的。但由于社会、政

  
英文摘要 Education is a social and cultural form particular to the human-being. It is a social activity aimed at bringing up people and it comes into being along with the appearance of human society. China has long been known as the "land of ceremony and music". It has a longstanding tradition of musical education, and it is one of those countries with the earliest origin of musical education. Musical education is an essential component of school education in our country. It is the main content and an important approach to implement the aesthetic education; and it is also an effective way to strengthen the moral education, intellectual education, physical education and working education. The ancients have said that"the prosperous country enjoys the music and the declining country listens to no music." Therefore, it is a clear fact that the success or failure of the musical education plays n crucial role in the social civilization and progress. Tianjin city combines the tradition and the openness. It appears to be prosperous and dynamic because of the cultural accumulation. The earliest modern education in the north is originated from Tianjin. The modern education has sprung up along with the openness of ports to the outside world in Tianjin since 1860. At present, the Chinese government is putting great efforts into the development of the Bohai new area and is strongly developing the education in Tianjin. The research into the historical progress and rules of the genesis and development of Tianjin musical education, and the probe into the interrelations between musical education and musical culture as well as their mutual influence upon each other during the process of changes together with their origins in Tianjin, will serve a transitional function in the development of the musical education in China. The local musical education, its genesis and development can by no means be separated from the overall background of social and educational development in the whole country. It even can not separate itself from the influence and restriction from
