中文摘要 为全面贯彻教育方针，大力推进素质教育，目前全国各高校都开设了公共音乐课程。公共音乐课程是为培养社会主义现代化建设所需要的高素质人才而设立的课程，对于提高审美素质，培养创新能力和实践能力，塑造健全人格具有不可替代的作用。音乐艺术实践是音乐教育中不可缺少的有机组成部分，也是学生乐于接受的、生动活泼的、有效的音乐教育形式。课堂教学和音乐艺术实践的有机结合，将为普通高校音乐教育注入新的活力。 本文包括绪论、正文、结语三个部分。绪论主要概述了我国普通高校公共音乐教育的现状及本论文的理论价值和现实意义。正文分三个章节，第一章全面论述了普通高校音乐艺术实践与大学生的发展；第二章概述了普通高校音乐艺术实践的定位，论述了普通高校开展音乐艺术实践的必要性和可行性并提出普通高校开展音乐艺术实践对教师质量规格的要求；第三章以笔者所在单位——河南师范大学为例，具体阐述了普通高校音乐艺术实践的开展形式，取得的成果以及有待于解决的问题和对策。结语部分总结通过本文的论述得到的结论，以及对普通高校开展音乐艺术实践以后的发展提出的探讨性问题。  

英文摘要 At present, colleges and universities in China have set music as a public selective course, in order to implement the educational principles in an all-round way and make great efforts to promote quality-oriented education. Public selective music course is aiming at cultivating high-quality talents to meet the need of the construction of socialist modernization. It is irreplaceable in improving ability of appreciating beauty, fostering creativity and practicing capability and building healthy characteristics. Practice of musical arts is an indispensable and organic part of music education. It is also lively and popular among students, so as to be an effective method of music teaching. In-class teaching and practice of musical arts, combined reasonably, will infuse great vitality into the music education in colleges and universities. This thesis consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The first part introduces briefly the present situation as well as the academic and practical value of music education in colleges and universities in China. The text consists of three chapters, first of which introduces the practice of musical arts in colleges and the development of college students. The second chapter states
